Santa Ponsa (Santa Ponça in Spanish) should be familiar to almost everyone. Thanks to the TV programme "Goodbye Deutschland! Die Auswanderer", this place on Mallorca quickly became famous. Daniela Katzenberger first opened her café here, followed later by Jürgen Drews. Before that, Santa Ponsa long had a reputation for being similar to Magaluf and Palmanova.

The town is only around 20 kilometres from the island's capital Palma. More and more Germans are choosing the town of 11,000 inhabitants as a holiday destination.
